Our Trees

Cowbridge Christmas Tree Farm was established in 2018 on a family run farm in the Vale of Glamorgan. We are huge advocates for keeping it real and think REAL Christmas trees are the way to go every year.

Nordmann Fir

The most popular Christmas Tree in the UK. This variety is known for its excellent needle retention, dark green foliage, great conical shape and strong branches perfect for displaying ornaments.

Fraser Fir

Fraser Firs are known for their ‘Pine Fresh’ scent and great needle retention. These dark green trees have silvery undersides and strong, upwards facing branches that form an attractive pyramid shape making them ideal for smaller spaces.

Corkbark Fir

Corkbark Firs, also known as Rocky Mountain Firs, are known for the thick, corky bark on their trunk. Their needles can show green, bluey-green or even silvery with glossy undersides. With strong branches, they are great for holding ornaments, and has a gorgeous fragrance. Due to its wild heritage these trees can show quite a range of characteristics making them very interesting trees to grow!

Norway Spruce

The traditional Christmas tree with dark green foliage, conical shape and strong fragrance, you don’t get more classic than a Norway Spruce. Keep them well watered for good needle retention.

Lodgepole Pine

The traditionalists Christmas tree with beautiful tapering branches, They have long needles which are green/yellow in colour. Pines have the best needle holding properties and rarely lose their needles if well hydrated.
