How it all started…

Cowbridge Christmas Tree Farm was established in 2018 by us, Harri & Eliza.

The first year was a rollercoaster. We dived in and ploughed a chunk of the field and got to it with spades, hand planting over 1800 Christmas trees. Safe to say we roped all family and friends into it with promises of free Christmas trees in the distant future. It took us a week but we got it done!

We learnt a lot this year. Firstly that we absolutely must invest in a planter to save our backs, secondly that Christmas trees don’t like heat waves and finally that Shropshire sheep (despite what they tell you) will have a nibble at a tasty looking fir.

Fast forward 5 years and we have over 10,000 trees in the ground and are opening for business for the first time Saturday 26th November!
